Nice neighbourhood hardware store This is the kind of place like the one Tim Allen used on his show "Tool Time"--small, local, friendly. On any given afternoon I went, there was at least one "regular" in the shop that all the employees knew. You can't get personal service like that at the larger chains! PROS: Personal; small town feeling CONS: It's small, so you may find you still have to visit a larger chain
Hardware store with a personal and reasonable prices This small hardware store has just about everything you would need without the hassle of the large chain home improvement stores. What I like most is the personal customer service, which is so hard to find in other places. When I went in there recently, I didn't have to wait to be served. The gentleman was friendly and informative. These are some things I can't always find at the big box stores.
