They know how to do moussaka! There are other good things on their menu as well, but it is hard to find good moussaka so that warrants special mention.
Halfmoon Diner Inc I primarily go to diner's for breakfast or brunch, so I can't say too much about the dinner entrees at the Halfmoon Diner. They do a great job on breakfast though, with attentive, quick service and big plates of hot food.
Terrible service Our party of 4 was deeply disappointed in the visit. First, a party of 3 arrived 10 minutes into our wait and was seated immediately. 5 minutes later, we were seated. This wasn't too bothersome, but only set us up for our incompetent server. She took our order with the kindness and sincerity of a Syrian interrogator. Her fingernails were painted black, she had horrible interpersonal skills, and we're all convinced she has never even heard of the words "customer satisfaction." Great Service If you like homestyle cooking and service, this is the place to go. You can get just about anything, made to order and a nice hot cup of coffee to go with it. The service is great and you are always greeted with a smile. Best of all the prices are great and the quality of the food is outstanding.
