Great time My wife and I had a very nice afternoon at the Half Moon Bay Bar. The waiter kept telling us stupid but somewhat funny jokes. The food was good, the staff was terrific. They even toasted us for being married 15 years!
Washington's Best Bloody Mary's My husband and I dine here every time we go to Westport. The food is excellent and moderately priced. Recently though we heard that it was known for the best Blood Mary's in Washington. There is a reason they are known for that. It was the most flavorful bloody mary I have ever had. If you have never been to Westport or are planning to go I would highly reccomend this restaurant!!
OMG! We walked into the bar at the Half Moon Bay for a beer and some appetizers around 3:30 on Valentine's Day, where we sat down by the window. We were immediately ushered out because they had dinner reservations in the bar starting at 4:00. We had to wait with 3 other couples, while they determined what seats were reserved. We got to sit at a tall table, while the other groups had to wait for a spot at the bar. We decided to order an appetizer of bacon wraps scallops, and an IPA. Beautiful view, great ambiance, Marina front dining We were recently in Westport for the Pirate Daze festival, to see the tall ships that were in Pirates of the Caribbean, and stopped into the Half Moon Bay Bar and grill because their sign said "Washington's best bloody mary", and I never turn down a bloody mary. Wow, what a shocker. I never realized that Westport had nice restaurants, but this was really a nice surprise. Half Moon Bay Bar and Grill is not so great i went to the bar and grill to look around and when i walked in the first thing i saw was buckets hanging from the roof for water to drip into. they place looks nice but lose the buckets and there prices are really high nothing is under $20 if you want a place to eat go to BENETT'S
Try the chowder topped with fresh dungeness crab We had a great experience here, on a package deal with the Islander hotel. After a fun day of exploring the beaches, we stopped in for their crab cakes and sat in the lounge at a table overlooking the marina. I have actually had the crab cakes at Bite of Seattle and thought they were great (although I am a sucker for fresh crabmeat) and I wasn't disappointed when I got them here.
