Great team at Haley, incredible custom made tricycles that have been copied by lesser companies since. Custom work takes time and sourcing has been tough since the pandemic, but well worth the wait.
I submitted a deposit on behalf of a public library back in February for a book bike which was confirmed about a month later. Updates on our purchase have been impossible to come by. We regularly receive what are called update emails but they have nothing to do with our specific purchase, only demonstrate that work is being done in their shop. This trike has totally exceeded my expectations, and has been completely worth the investment. I use it professionally as a mobile tool cart, complete with a 17" telescoping ladder and full tool chest. I also put a lot of daily miles on it personally, mostly because it's so much fun to ride, the lid removes completely allowing it to be used as a rickshaw for two! Editing negative review: We have now received our bike. It took one year from the time that we prepaid it to when we received it. While I am grateful to have it, it was a very difficult year with poor communication. The bike arrived well packaged and needing assembly. Fortunately I have a few people who is experienced at bicycle repair and they were able to assemble it for me. It wasn't a one person job. Haley Tricycles is a DOPE small business!!! I met Stephen at their bike warehouse and was given a tour and bike demonstration. Temple University purchased a book trike for our GenED: The Philadephia Experience initiative. The campus community LOVES it! They also kept it 💯 in terms of them being backed up from previous orders due to the pandemic. Support this great team.
