When I received a quote from Scott, the owner, I expressed to him how important it was to have permits pulled as I was considering selling my house in the following spring. Great experience! We received a prompt and thorough inspection of our old furnace. We received a fair and reasonable quote for a new one. In a weeks time, the technicians arrived and installed a new unit. Friendly service. Knowledgeable. Highly recommend.

It had a boiler system which I saw had a Hales corner heating and air conditioning sticker on it. I contacted the company and purchased annual maintenance packages. Because I was familiar with this company because they came out to service my broiler I decided to give him a call to fix and air conditioning problem I had. FIRST THIS CUSOMER CALLED ON 93* DAY HIS UNIT IS IN THE ATIC WHICH WAS OVE 190 DEGEREES UP THERE. HE TRYIED FIXING IT HIMSELF.. MY TECH WAS UP THERE IN THE HEAT FOR THREE HOURS. HE APPROVED THE WOR AND HIS MOTHER WHO LIVED THERE! ONCE IT WAS COMPLETED HE REFUSED TO PAY THE BILL WE WERE STIFFED AND DID NO RECIEVE A DIME IN PAYMENT. I called this company on a sat. requesting service on a furnace that was not working. I was quoted a service call charge of $189.99, I thought that was excessive, but being without heat on a cold day, I agreed. The service man came and installed a part. This is where I have a complaint, the part cost $316.83. I thought that this was excessive at the time, but what could I do. He had me, it was cold in the house, and I needed the heat. THIS WAS AN AFTER HOURS CALL THE CUSTOMER WAS TOLD THREE TIMES IT WAS 189.99 TO COME AND PLUS REPAIRS AND REPAIRS WOULD BE AT OVER TIME COST. IT WAS A TENANT OF HIS AND HAD TO HAVE SOMEONE OUT. I ALSO TOLD HIM ON A 22 YEAR OLD FURNACE THAT WE MAY NOT HAVE PARTS AND THAT THE FURNACE WAS BEYOND ITS LIFE. HE WANTED SOMEONE OUT ANY WAY. IT TUNED OUT IT WAS AN IGNITER. Buyer beware when dealing with this company. A year after HC installed the system, in April of 2019, a tech did the annual checkup stating that the system was operating properly. We signed a service contract for $633.00. In July a tech came out because the system was not cooling. He added 3lbs of freon 410a for $193.04. This was shocking. I was told by the tech and Scott the owner that the computer had these prices. When I contacted other AC cos. they couldn't believe it either since they only charged $45/lb.
