I have been waiting 5 months for Haleakala Solar to complete their end of the contract. I did my part of paying for services, which was required to release the required info to Hawaiian Electric, but the paperwork has been incomplete. It's difficult get get in contact with a service person at Haleakala Solar. Save yourself the headache and go with someone else. I will attach emails that shows the disconnect between Hawaiian Electric and Haleakala Solar.

I used Haleakala Solar to add solar panels and Tesla power walls to our house. While the process takes some time (6 months or so from start to finish), Haleakala Solar was very clear from the beginning on what the process looks like, the steps, and how long each step would take. Some steps took longer than they planned and some less (as you might expect in a complicated process), but overall, they were pretty accurate. The work was really well done. Were there errors, yes. We did not experience a perfect install. After several attempts to get resolved, once James (owner) got involved, we finally found the issue was a faulty manufacturing part.... And now our system is AWESOME. the issues were not on the installer, however, I believe this should have been determined and found much sooner..... Don't be fool by smooth talking friendly sales guy. They come with a deal but once you sign the contract its all bad from there. They won't install on time and if there's any problems forget it. They will push you off for months for repair or blame it on something else. Had to post this under my friends account because I'm worried they wouldn't honor their warranty after reading the honest truth.
