I recently had an extensive abdominal surgery performed by Dr. Halbreich at SMH, and I couldn't be more grateful for the outstanding care I received. Dr. Halbreich's expertise, patience, and compassionate approach made a stressful experience so much more manageable with outstanding end results.

Saw Dr. Halbreich for an emergency appendectomy at 4a m.The CT scan showed stranding. Dr. ordered heavy duty pain meds and did not come to perform surgery until 2 pm at which time the appendix burst and Peritonitis set in.Shameful! I was very Ill from the delay!!His Negligence Almost Killed Me!!!!Do Not Use This So Called Doctor!!

I met Dr Halbreich in Sarasota Memorial Hospital I was in acute distress with my gallbladder and he knew it and acted on it he removed the gallbladder and did a biopsy on my liver and I am find and home and had my follow up yesterday and was given a clean bill of health,Thank you Dr Halbreich
Excellent surgeon. Asks the right questions. Chose robotic surgery got me and it was the right move. Skilled.
Horrible doctor. Told me to just live with my health issue. Since then I have had surgery and had to experience wound vac therapy . Horrible physician. Only cares about getting paid. Should not even have a practice.
He is a great surgeon who goes the extra mile. Nice bedside manner. Knows his stuff. A very rare combination these days. Recommend him highly. Nov 2018
