A Very Intelligent, Christian woman who sometimes misses the mark.
I visited Dr. Hakim 7-8 times and because she prides herself as being a hard worker, she puts her beliefs upon your own well being. I was insulted numerous times by her implying that I did not want to work because I was out on a short term disability leave with anxiety/ptsd/ and depression. I made it clear that the sales pressure and hostile work environment Made my illness worse. She dismissed these concerns in within the first 10 mins of the 1st visit, she said-you will be going back to work.
Awful experience! Very insulting and unprofessional. Sent me back to work with meds that made me sick and denied that it was possible that the medicine could possibly be dangerous even though my eyes turned beet read and I was dizzy and sick for two days after one pill. She told me to stop taking a medication that I had taken for 5 years prior and didn’t realize that withdrawal from the medication when suddenly stopping could cause serious illness or even death. Avoid her!!!
