I just visited for the second time and I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt because I like to support small business and especially minority businesses, but the fact is this place falls short in customer service and warmth, portion and flavor consistency. I had an amazing experience at Hajara's Kitchen. The owner is very friendly and welcoming, and the food was absolutely delicious. The restaurant is very clean, inviting, and has a great atmosphere. This is truly one of the best African restaurants in the area. People even drive from Maryland and Washington, DC just to enjoy the food here, and after visiting, I can see why. Hajara is amazing and I love the food here. I’ve been coming here for about a year now. If you’re in the area please stop by? I had the Egusi soup and pounded yam or the Jollof rice and chicken.

I had such a great experience here! The food was fresh, flavorful, and made with care. Everything tasted really good, and you can tell they put effort into their meals. The service was also amazing very welcoming and attentive. The atmosphere felt comfortable and relaxing, which made the whole experience even better. I’ll definitely be coming back!
