VERY VERY VERY GOOD!!! sweet ladies who run it. Hole in the wall Halal spot that’ll drive you crazy and make you want more! So filling and GREAT price. Nice place to sit and decent bathrooms. The sorrel house made drinks are the best!!
One of the best West African meals I’ve had in the DMV. The beef and fish cassava leaf was SO flavorful and authentic. You can tell everything is made with care. I met the owner and she was incredibly kind and inspiring. Beautiful atmosphere, amazing food, and a hidden gem in Woodbridge. Everybody needs to try this place!
The beef suya is no where close to actual Nigerian suya, as they said so confidently it would be. Definitely overpriced. I paid $40+ for coconut rice (which I had no idea would be spicy) and a-little bit of plantain and a small portion of beef and 1 meat pie. The beef alone was $21. In my opinion definitely not worth that price.
I just visited for the second time and I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt because I like to support small business and especially minority businesses, but the fact is this place falls short in customer service and warmth, portion and flavor consistency. The lady who took my order this time didn’t seem like she wanted to be there. I asked her to please take off the dine in charge because I was getting my food to go. She refused to do so.
