What a big disappointment!!! First of all, the posters on the glass of the entrance with the daily specials is outdated. I also was told that the electronic menu is also outdated. I ordered suya from the “updated” menu, when she rung it up, there was a price difference. When I asked about it, I was told that the prices were also outdated. VERY VERY VERY GOOD!!! sweet ladies who run it. Hole in the wall Halal spot that’ll drive you crazy and make you want more! So filling and GREAT price. Nice place to sit and decent bathrooms. The sorrel house made drinks are the best!!
One of the best West African meals I’ve had in the DMV. The beef and fish cassava leaf was SO flavorful and authentic. You can tell everything is made with care. I met the owner and she was incredibly kind and inspiring. Beautiful atmosphere, amazing food, and a hidden gem in Woodbridge. Everybody needs to try this place!
The beef suya is no where close to actual Nigerian suya, as they said so confidently it would be. Definitely overpriced. I paid $40+ for coconut rice (which I had no idea would be spicy) and a-little bit of plantain and a small portion of beef and 1 meat pie. The beef alone was $21. In my opinion definitely not worth that price.
