I ordered Alikay Naturals shea yogurt through the shop app and was charged instantly. I received a email with a usps tracking. Everything look legit. Two days later I received another email that my order was cancelled and that I would receive my refund within 3-10 days. 11 days went by no refund. I emailed this company 4 times and never received a response. No surprise. I have to call my bank to dispute the transaction. I reported this company to ShopApp customer support. The woman who answered the phone (I assume the owner) was extremely rude and incompetent when I called inquiring about replacement clips for hair extensions. She kept correcting me and insisting that I was referring to “replacement clip in extensions” when I tried multiple times to explain that I was looking for JUST the clips because one of mine broke. I really wanted to support this business. As a member of this community, I intentionally chose to shop here because it’s a small, Black-owned hair store. Unfortunately, from my very first visit about a year ago, the experience was disappointing. The selection is extremely minimal — very basic supplies, not much variety — but I overlooked that because my goal was to support a growing local business.
