Hairston's closing!!!??? – My husband and I went last night (Sunday night) and was told that it was their last night being open. After 18 years they have closed their doors. I guess between Echolon opening and DJ NAB leaving, was just too much. Now where do grown folks go now on Sunday's....to the overcrowded Sports Bar where DJ NAB is now............NOT!

Very expensive food/drinks, extremely loud music. – This is one of the few times I have gone to a club after my college days, and after this experience I can say I won’t be back here, at least not without ear plugs and a full stomach. My wife finally was successful in dragging me out of the house and made reservations for us and her cousins at this club on Father’s Day night. HAIRSTON'S HAS AWESOME NEW COOK! – When I'm at Hairston's which is about 4 times a month I alway's order the lemon pepper wings's. But on my Boyfriend's Birthday he had a T-bone steak that was seasoned to profection veggie medley and mash potato's that I swear were homemade. I had the Chicken Alfredo, a side salad and garlic bread that was to die for. The Chef, well who we thought was the Chef was the one to bring the food to the table which was refreshing. Fun Place, Paying for a Birthday Party: Not Worth It – PRO: Well it is a fun place. Great hostess. Our waitress Tori was great. She's awesome. Friends had a great time. CON: I do not recommend paying for a Birthday Platter/party. The total was $225 with tax and tip. There was supposed to be enough appetizers for up to 15 people, there wasn't (not even close. Todd the manager is great! – He is very pleasant and friendly. If he ever leaves this place to go on his own or work with a real human being, it will match the personality of the owner, STEVE. NO STARS for that NASTY OLD PATHETIC GEEZER, or the greasy junk the owner passes off as food. You can digest the food, dance and drink, as long as you don't have to associate with that little pathetic sucker. I pity the entire staff that makes him the money.

Out with the OLD please back in with the NEW! – I made reservations with the manager Steve a month ago for my get together for my sister and her new inlaws. The manager Steve was great he told me everything I needed to do to secure my space and he put me in touch with his manager Todd. Todd was also great he was pleasant he knew everything about where we came from in Chicago and he confirmed everything I discussed with Steve. Hairston's - The best place to have a party – I had my 39th birthday party at Hairston's Dinner Club in Stone Mountain. I was torn between patronizing Hairston's or Echelon 3000. I am so glad that I chose Hairston's! I had my party on a Friday night in Hairston's "Vanilla Room". The room was elegant, modern and well-kept. I had about 65 guests that attend my party. Only 4 the Mature Crowd – The first time I went to this remarkable club I had the time of my life. I was greeted by warm and hospitable staff willing to serve my husband and I. I enjoyed the type of music that was being played. The food was outstanding as well. I plan on celebrating my birthday there and any other time I want to dance that is the place I want to be.
