Jo has been cutting my hair for years. The every 3-4 month cuts initially helped me grow out my gray and gave me confidence to wear my hair longer to show off my curls. After fighting my curls for decades, she has given me curl pride. She is not only a great stylist, but also a great human being. I highly recommend her.
I just had my first haircut with Jo and she is awesome! It’s been so hard to find someone who understands how to cut and care for my wavy/curly hair. She taught me so much throughout the process and gave me an ebook to help continue care at home. Highly recommend for my other curly haired people.
I had my second curly cut with Jo a few months ago and unfortunately left feeling very disappointed. My hair appeared frizzy, poofy, and uneven, nothing like the defined curls I had seen after my previous cut with a different stylist. It was discouraging to spend over $200 and leave the salon feeling less confident about my hair. If you have wavy hair and are still learning to manage a curly routine, I would highly recommend finding a different stylist with more experience working with your specific texture and curl pattern.
Jo is so kind and welcoming! She is also talented and knows what she is doing. This was the best hair cutting experience I have ever had and well worth the money! Jo really took her time and listened and understood what I was looking for. Jo really listened to what I wanted and made my wavy curls look great! She also gave me some really helpful tips about styling. **6 month update: this was my favorite haircut ever! Just got better as it grew out and lasted a full six months before I even thought about needing a tune up. Definitely worth the cost!**
