I just had my first haircut with Jo and she is awesome! It’s been so hard to find someone who understands how to cut and care for my wavy/curly hair. She taught me so much throughout the process and gave me an ebook to help continue care at home. Highly recommend for my other curly haired people.
I had my second curly cut with Jo a few months ago and unfortunately left feeling very disappointed. My hair appeared frizzy, poofy, and uneven, nothing like the defined curls I had seen after my previous cut with a different stylist. It was discouraging to spend over $200 and leave the salon feeling less confident about my hair. If you have wavy hair and are still learning to manage a curly routine, I would highly recommend finding a different stylist with more experience working with your specific texture and curl pattern.
Jo really listened to what I wanted and made my wavy curls look great! She also gave me some really helpful tips about styling. **6 month update: this was my favorite haircut ever! Just got better as it grew out and lasted a full six months before I even thought about needing a tune up. Definitely worth the cost!**
Jo knows curly hair. She is an expert at helping you find the style that fits you and your curls. She is a wealth of information and loves to teach you how to care for your hair. She is passionate and professional and I am grateful I found her. I love my new hair! And, it is great to understand how to care for my curls, from washing, styling, which products to use, and how to use them. I highly recommend Jo!
Jo is so kind and welcoming! She is also talented and knows what she is doing. This was the best hair cutting experience I have ever had and well worth the money!
