Worst experience! If I could rate less than 1 star I would. I’ve never complained about a hairstylist before but this one took the cake. My first red flag should have been my consultation being moved 3-4 times. The next should have been the loc size I agreed to being changed at my appointment. The 3rd was my stylist running out of hair and telling me she had to wait on a shipment and to come back later. The 4th was after asking for a middle part, I still didn’t receive one. Inez does decent work and seems like a genuine person. The wait times however are ridiculous. First time I got retwisted she charged me 70$ instead of 60$ because my locs were smaller. That’s fine, but seeing how she did my hair before she should have informed me that it was 70$ instead of the usual 60. This is the 3rd time it’s taken her 5 hours to do a job that takes 45 minutes. I visited Hair Tamers multiple times and always had nothing but good things to say. However my most recent visit (11/26/19) was not as pleasant. I found the owner Inez (i believe is her name) very unprofessional and disrespectful not only to the clients in the shop. But also to the braider( miriam) who was styling my hair. Inez came in very rudely asking about towels. But became upset bc miriam had forgotten them. Sidenote, I personally saw stacks of towels folded in the cabinet. But she continued on to rant and rave.
