I should have turned around the second I walked in and saw a woman looking at her reflection with a look of utter disappointment trying to convince herself that her haircut was better then what she started with followed by a quick exit. I’ve been coming to Hair Star for years and I absolutely love it here. Lee and Phong are so friendly and welcoming, and they always make you feel comfortable right away. The energy in the salon is calm and peaceful, which I really appreciate. They work quickly but are still very patient and make sure everything is done right, you never feel rushed. I have curly hair. Already had an asymmetrical pixie style and Phuong (sp?) has been able to perfectly maintain it. She does the scissor cut on my long side, then clippers on the short side and impeccable details with the areas around ears, temple & neckline. Always happy when I leave. No stylist only charges $20 for that!! She gets a 50% tip everytime.
Great haircut at a reasonable price.
