Jaxon had a great day at the groomers! (Hair of the Dawg) in Gunnison. He usually does not like going, so I have been bathing him myself. I just don’t want him to have a bad experience and not want to go. He was happy when I picked him up today and he looked and smelled great. Thank you for taking such good care of my fur baby! I took my persian cat in to them and they did an awesome job!!
I was extremely nervous to take my fur baby in for her first haircut. But the ladies at Hair of the Dawg made me feel very comfortable and reassured that she would be well taken care of. They listen to your requests and pay very close attention to detail and take their time doing so. I'm so happy to have taken my puppers in here!

My first experience with Hair of the Dawg was a volunteer bake sale and dog wash for Gunnison Valley Animal Welfare League. Crissy opened up her doors, and she and volunteers washed the shelter and other's dogs for donation. Crissy is an incredible person and groomer, I couldn't have asked for a more caring person to work for. They treat each and every dog with the utmost respect, and they make sure they are safe and happy. Came in and asked if they took drop in's for a nail clip. They said sure, we will be here until 5:00. Husband and daughter took our pup in and they said they didn't take drop ins and there would be a 45 min wait or more.
I loved working here I got to meat sooo many cool dogs and I learned how to have a job loved it
