I booked an appointment online for a full highlight and a cut. Within one week I have roots that are showing. When booking online the price was $140 when I went to check out I was charged $165 they failed to tell you that $25 is for toning. I hesitate on writing this review because when I was there getting my service done the girls that work there were talking about the customer reviews and really putting customers down. I saw Linda tonight at Hair Cuttery in Eustis. She was very professional and kind. She gave me great advice on my hairstyle and was so patient with me..I love my new haircut!
The first time going to this hair cuttery on Grand in Gurnee and the last. I didn’t even get to get a hair cut before I walked out. If you are black don’t bother to go you will property not get waited on. I make an 1100 appointment which I got there about 10 minutes early to get a feel of the place. I have been going to Hair Cuttery for quite a few years and the staff is always friendly. Except the manager. On numerous occasions, I have witnessed the manager (Berna) arguing with the customers over pricing, demanding payment for services and interrogating the customers regarding their ignorance to company pricing. She doesn't see anything wrong with reprimanding/yelling at the hairstylists for whatever she perceives as an infraction of her rules. I had a 3 o'clock appointment today got there at 2:45 sat there till 330. Someone walked in without an appointment and got taken in five minutes. Got tired of waiting so I walked out
Heads up to African American women !!! They don't know how to do your hair !! I was in the one in the Roosevelt Mall March 13, 2021. They tell you one price , then charge you more when you check out ! Talk about a bad hair day!! The place is dirty and don't clean their brushes between people !!! SMH Lee is the worst !!!
