I took the Hair Braiding 101 class yesterday, and it was such a great experience! Ivory, the instructor, was super patient and made sure I felt comfortable the entire time. The class size is small—limited to two people—so you get a lot of one-on-one attention, which really helped me feel confident. I learned all the basics: how to position my hands, the best braiding technique, how to grip the hair close to the scalp, how to stand, part the hair, and move the client’s head while braiding.
