I was charged extra for a deshedding because of "so much hair"... My dog is only 35 lbs and not a long haired dog. My poor dog seemed stressed when I picked her up, she screamed when I touched her ears, and seemed like she couldn't hear me....Took her to the vet the next day, and she ended up with both eardrums busted and 3 types of bacteria found after a culture, severely infected. Do not go here if you love your pet at all! I was told to bring my yorkie in at 10am, when I dropped him off I explained to the woman that I wanted only a little off his face and it was ok to go semi short on the rest of his body. She said ok, it wouldn't take long and she would call me when he was done. Well by 4:30 I started to get a little worried so I called, no answer, so I went there. Wanted to know price for shaving my kittens hind legs and 2 knots on belly and was told if I'm worried about the price don't come in.She said it twice in a loud voice and hung up on me.With that kind of demeanor I wouldn't want her to touch any of my 6 animals.

I took my cockapoo here to get groomed and specifically told the groomer that I did not want a cut that made my dog look like a poodle. I explained what I wanted and she agreed to do it. 3 hours later my husband picked up our dog who was cut just like a poodle. The groomer told my husband "hope your wife likes it, she didn't know what she was talking about." Well my husband hated it and I hated it. She did exactly what she wanted and not what I requested. I have been taking my Shih Tzu here for a few years now and I have been EXTREMELY pleased with all they have to offer. They do exactly what you ask them to do and my dog looks and feels wonderful after leaving. I have taken Bear to other places but have come back to Hai Max because they are the best I have found. Keep up the good work.

If you love your pet don't EVER allow this place to groom them. The owner Hai is aggressive, intolerant, and not at all a pet lover. He will not take care of your animal - he justs wants your money to keep him in his nice location. The salon is clean and the dog washer is good. The groomer/owner Hai is NOT. He has lots of certificates on the wall but he is not warm and loving and does not deserve to be around pets.
