My wife and I were passing through Roanoke Rapids on our way to Georgia and were looking for a place to grab a quick meal that wasn’t a chain restaurant. We came across Haggerty’s Steakhouse and noticed the good ratings, so we decided to give it a try. It also looked like it would be an easy stop off I-95. We ordered the hamburger steak with mash potatoes and broccoli with cauliflower and carrots and I believe that was the best hamburger steak i have ever had. The vegetables were cooked perfectly and the mash potatoes were awesome!!!
