favorite store associats are all ways friendly and helpful. the store is fun to shop in, it has that old home town fill i love. the prices, while are not always the best, they are competitive. they have a great deli, and their fried chiken is the best i have ever had. that alone is worth the trip to check them out.
THEY CARE ABOUT ETHNIC FOOD! I need a special item for Cinco De Mayo and Haggen had it in stock! FLAN! The store was well stocked and cared about ethnic foods! Thank you! Also, LING LING Egg Rolls! A great price for many egg rolls!
High prices don't offset fancy-schmancy store You'd expect customer service to be excellent at a rich person's food store, it is good, but just good. The flyer prices are never anything to crow about. They usually open other lines when lines get too long, which is nice. They won't take internet coupons, and the customer service booth is unmanned at times. both understandable, but when I pay premium prices, I expect premium service. Haggen This store has a vast variety of vegetables and fruits and they are fresh. They also have a Candy section with sugar free and all kinds of goodies. The bakery always make fresh pasteries, breads and cakes.
for all our needs we must go to Haggen four or five times a week. Whether it's for Chinese food or something we need at home, they always seem to be open and always seem to have what I need. We have used the florist so many times- this past spring they made arrangments for the seniors of the high school softball team and their parents. One of our favorites
better than typical grocery store clean and bright, newer than most of the other stores in the area. higher prices, but better bakery, meat and produce. the "market place" items are pricey, but tasty. similar to costco but more expensive, not in the best of areas. lots of parking though
