I highly recommend this restaurant! I was visiting from Las Vegas and found it through a Google search. It turned out to be an amazing experience. The food quality was outstanding, and the portions were incredibly generous. My wife and I ordered two Koobideh plates, and not only were we completely full, but we also had enough leftovers to take home for another meal. We visited Hafez Cafe with friends for a casual dinner and had a wonderful experience. They served us a beautiful complimentary big pot of quality black tea that other Persian restaurants charge for at least $16. The food was absolutely delicious and clearly made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. The Barg Kabob and Koobideh Kabob were especially outstanding and full of flavor. What a delightful find! The koobideh and barg were outstanding, juicy, flavorful, and perfectly grilled. Generous portions left us satisfied, and the fresh-baked bread was a highlight: thin, warm, and so delicious we devoured every piece even when full. We loved the complimentary tea service (a nice touch, unlike places that charge $4+ per person), the tasty side salad with great dressing, and the kobideh sandwich wrapped in that same fresh bread. The bread was okay. The Ab-goosht was so so. The joojeh-kabab was old hen. Ash-reshteh had very little kashk and oinion.
