Recently been there after a while and it was amazing. The place has been redecorated nicely and the food quality was improved significantly. Also the staff were welcoming and professional.
Five stars is not enough. Hafez Cafe just ruined every other meal I have planned this month. I ordered the Kalba combo with a side of chicken kalba, and everything was perfection. Not “pretty good.” Not “we’ll come back.” Perfection. The kalba was rich, slow-cooked, and deeply savory in that way only a place that actually knows this dish can pull off.
