Known for their burgers Hackney's is known for their burger and I think they are very good, but certainly not the best around. Their onion loaf is nice and greasy and very good. The restaurant is dark and old, but definitely a well known landmark.
Good Food.. better service .. busy place Hackney's has been in the same place for at least 30 years... and it is still busy.. That alone should tell you it is a good place to visit. The grounds are very pretty and make a nice place for a wedding reception. But don't get the idea that the place is too fancy..
