Was a little nervous reading previous reviews. Took my kids there yesterday and was so pleasantly surprised. From reception to hygienist to dentist, these people were excellent to deal with. You can’t go back with your kids, but if I had issues with that I would have sought a pediatric dentist. Also the only place I could find in SWVA that didn’t have a 6+ month waitlist.
Was able to be a walk-in for a tooth pull. From walking in the front door to having the procedure done, it only took a little over an hour. The staff very helpful and considerate. Dr. Hackney addressed all my questions and concerns. Would definitely come here again!
Thank God Dr. Hackney does walk ins. I had a broken tooth that became infected and he was the ONLY dentist willing to take me in with my insurance. He was to the point and got my tooth taken out. I even made another appointment for a cleaning. I've seen the negative reviews and I don't agree. The receptionist was nice and sweet and everyone there was friendly. Dr. Hackney told me upfront that the tooth wasn't savable (it was really bad) and had it out within 10 minutes. I think people should understand that he's a profession... read more
