I took it one place and was quoted $3000 for a new trans, another place said my 3rd gear was slipping and needed to be replaced for the tune of $1500. Highly recommended by my auto mechanic of 25 years. I had what sounded like a failing transmission pump. Of course when they test drove it, it wasn't making the whine like it had been, but not only did three different guys drive it to listen, I went in and one rode around again to see if we could get it to do it. I have a dodge pickup that just started slippin. So I've been on the hunt for a transmission shop. So far what I noticed is that people have terrible phone skills. They make you feel like your bothering them. I just called Hackler Transmissions and Miss Cathy was AWESOME! I will be taking my vehical down to them. So far so good.......
