I was treated in a very efficient and professional way that i was surprised to be honest. Between checking, getting treated and going home it was only 2 hours. The doctor and the nurses knew exactly what had to be done.

HackensackUMC Palisades: Emergency Room – Visited on 6/21/25 This was one of the worst ER experiences I’ve ever had. I was left in a room for over 6 hours with barely any attention from staff. My IV finished and was never removed, and I had to wait 3 hours just to have blood drawn. No one ever came to check my vitals, which is basic and necessary care. I had to come to the ER yesterday for a medical issue I was having. And I have to say that I was treated with such compassion, professionalism From everyone, I met to the ER intake nurse to the custodial staff to the administrators to the nurses to the doctors. They treated me so well that the experience of being in the emergency room Was not a big deal. And even in the midst of a very large construction project to expand the ER, there was no decrease in the care I received.
