I’m very disappointed with the service at Hackensack Hospital. I called to confirm my dad’s appointment and provided both his and my information. The person I spoke to asked for all the details, only to tell me afterward that she couldn’t help because it had to be done by my dad himself. If she had told me that right from the beginning, I would have completely understood. But instead, she wasted time and made the situation more frustrating than it needed to be.

One day, nurse kept me waiting for 30min, until 5pm, she was doing her coursework. Another day, I was delayed by Uber for 30min, arriving at 5pm, the nurse cancelled my appointment and I had to go back home! In freezing cold weather. How come they expect the patient to wait for 30min to do their coursework, yet they are not willing to do the same for patient?

From the moment we walked in, the front desk staff member, Yildis Campos, was extremely rude. We were late due to school traffic, and while I acknowledged that it was our fault, she was very snappy about it. I politely suggested if we could reschedule for a later time if this was causing a big issue for her, but despite taking us in, her attitude was unprofessional and made my whole family very uncomfortable. Horrible place to go, definitely dont recommend it. They dont allow kids in the office, and even if you need a translator they still not allow it. The manager is very rude and the staff is not the smartest. Definitely dont recommend this place. The only good thing about is the doctor was really nice and understood the situation and spoke to me(translator) the doctor was very understanding.
