Needed to make a visit to ER for stitches. Seemed to me there was some action and people were busy handling patients. I was checked in fast. I sat for a bit and to my surprise, I was called in. Nurse tended and dressed my cut. She then advised me Dr. would in shortly. Again, to my surprise within 15-20 minutes she was stitching me up. The doctors, staff, and nurses here are truly outstanding. In particular, Jessica, who conducted my ultrasound, was amazing. Not only did she take her time, but she also explained everything thoroughly and patiently answered all my questions. Her professionalism and friendliness made me feel at ease. On February 14, 2025, I visited the Emergency Room at Hackensack Meridian Health Pascack Valley Medical Center for high blood pressure. The staff performed an electrocardiogram (ECG), a flu test, and checked my blood pressure. My visit lasted just one hour. A month later, I received a bill for $3,066.81, which was shocking given the minimal services provided. This place is worse than the DMV. The same questions were asked repeatedly, the nurses were sitting at their desks eating and looking at their phones, and everything in the emergency room was as slow as a regular hospital. I was trapped for 4 hours even though there were no patients. I don't think you know exactly what emergency means. Do your work during working hours. Don't waste time by not being at your desk.
