Habitat for Humanity Oshawa Date: November 29, 2024 I purchased a pre-owned couch from this store on November 29, 2024. Unfortunately, I discovered it was infested with bed bugs. I had chosen this store because I believed it was a reputable place for affordable furniture. I'm very disappointed with this experience and want to caution other customers to inspect items carefully before buying. It's honestly not worth it.
OMG what happened. How is everything they sell so expensive. When did they take on the Value village persona. Get free stuff and sell it for as much profit as possible.
Not what I expected at all. Nowhere does it say they do NOT RESTORE items. It IS the name of their store, lol. It only says it has to be approved. I took a very expensive Costco bunk bed barely used, along with many other items, they accepted. I got a call about 1 item not able to resell, so no tax receipt, then got a other call for another item not sellable, then I got another call that there were some pieces missing, I offered to go what was missing as it had been in storage for 2.5 years.
