Huge alternative to the Big retail market and benefits a lot of people
I have donated several times, because I think this is a great resource to keep usable items out of the landfills. However, I am always incredibly disappointed in what you charge for items. The idea of a thrift store is that less fortunate people can find used items and REASONABLY afford them for their own dwelling. Your prices should be a fraction of what they are, especially for the condition of your stock. Fantastic place with kind workers and great prices!!
I always love dropping by the Habitat for Humanity Restore to see what kind of great treasures I can find. I discovered the store during an urgent remodel project. Due to illness, my husband and I had to quickly prepare our home so my in laws could move in with us. Thankfully we were able to make the needed improvements and furnish the area with very little cost. All the staff are extremely helpful..... especially Glen!!
