Salisa trained me in eyebrow lamination and also threading! She is so patient, sweet and makes you feel so welcome. She explained everything step by step and even repeated things and went over them again with me whenever I had questions. She let me bring a friend to be my model so I could be more comfortable. 10/10 recommend. Salisa’s help doesn’t end when you leave her spa, she answers my texts and calls with any questions that I may have and she is now my mentor!
The massage was ok. However, there were some issues with the tipping process: 1. No transparency upfront — No mention of any tip policy at check-in, and nothing listed on the price menu. 2. Pressured into a preset tip — After my session, the therapist told me I needed to pay $18 + tax as gratuity. Tips should be the customer’s choice, not a number decided for you. 3. 10/10 recommend this spa. The ladies are incredibly welcoming and are absolute experts at their crafts. I recently had a Habibi NuBody scrub done as well as my brows. For the scrub, you will come out baby soft and it will last for days. For the brows, I’ve never had any treatment done before, and it was amazing how much of a difference the lamination/tint made while looking completely natural. I highly recommend this treatment to anyone who regularly fills their eyebrows in with makeup.
i'm super picky about my brows but Salisa is a PRO!!! she knew exactly the look i was going for and i've been raving about her to my friends. such a generous and kind person. my new fav salon in Toronto!!
