RecommendedLast week I went into the ER suffering from dehydration from a severe stomach virus. Immediately staff began work getting IV's going and taking care of me. Doctor was very thorough ordering tests to make a definite and correct diagnosis. I was then admitted and the hospital Dr. And staff was very attentive and polite. They nursed me back to health. I saw a big change in healthcare at Habersham. Finally!!!
Dude I know these guys get a bad wrap but yesterday I went in with what I thought was a tummy ache of the most extremely bad. They found out it was not that and I needed emergency surgery. They had me triaged in and out of surgery and I was ready to go home by 4 pm. 12 hours all together and I must say that’s not too shabby. My nurse even remembered my request for post op graham crackers. Thank you all for your help yesterday and putting up with my corny jokes.
I work at a doctor's office and having to deal with Habersham Medical Center is absolutely terrible!!! They are always very rude on the phone and not helpful at all!! I don't hear good things from patients who have been to the hospital either.
I have delivered two babies at NGMC and was never shown the level of compassion and care shown while delivering my daughter at HMC this past week. I felt as if I was the only patient there by the way they catered to my every need. Deleah, Juliana, Jenn, Sierra, and Ansley are the absolute sweetest women and are AMAZING at what they do! Also, Brittany (my midwife) was the BEST and so very considerate of me having a toddler that needed me as well. Wonderful staff, from the ED to Med-surg! Everyone is friendly, helpful, motivated, and compassionate. I never felt like they didn’t have time to listen, and several went out of their way to make us comfortable. I am a CNA, and I think this would be a great place to work!
Absolutely not although the front desk was helpful the triage nurse and one particular doctor was rude

a friend was in there as soon as they found she had no insurance they tree her out without being able to walk or eat
Get rid of the nepotism and get highly qualified health care professionals instead of hiring family and friends. One person that needs to go is Michael Gene Armstrong, a poor Stupidvisor who was a reject from the Olive Garden.
