Love this Southeastern Pennsylvania Delight! Habbersett's is the best scrapple you'll find anywhere and I'm a native of the Pennsylvania Dutch Country for over 40 years. Fry it up for breakfast with anything and use Habbersett's scrapple in place of sausage or bacon! Fry it extra crispy or slightly brown. Turkey Syrup or molasses is best on it! Yum!!!

12/24/24: Bought the ball sausage this year. It is much worse. Was dry, and tasted of poorer cuts of pork. I have been eating these for 60 years. I am so dissappointed because I am done buying these. Exquisite flavor and texture with proper preparation Slice approximately 7 slices from almost totally thawed frozen block, position slices on ungreased hot to med hot Very important to not let the slices contact each other Stovetop flat iron pan, do not flip slices until crispy (11 min) Flipping early may result in broken edges Cook new side for a few minutes on lower heat setting medium Back it up with another PA favorite Heinz ketchup

I live in the heart of Dutch country Lancaster County. I'm 56 and as a young child i grew up on scrapple, fried cornmeal and pan pudding. Only a couple years ago I found Habbersett in the store and gave it a try. The appearance and ease of cooking is phenomenal. Perfect texture and well blended flavors do not come close to the farms that make scrapple here. If it doesn't say HABBERSETT on the label you aren't eating scrapple. Keep up the Family tradition of making quality products. #scrapple #pork #breakfast #family #beef #l... read more
