I bought a used Habby MTB frame on eBay in 2014, and Mark was gracious enough to walk me through some fork suggestions, send me decals, and just be a helpful guy for no commercial reason whatsoever. I have a few Habanero bikes for myself and family. The idea a Habanero is a good value for the price is completely wrong thinking. The quality and design of the bikes are excellent, and the customer service could not be better, the fact the bikes are sold at a price point a person would be hard pressed to get anywhere else is just icing on the cake. The best thing I can say about Habanero is I am always looking forward to when I will “need” to get another Habby….
Smoothest riding frame I have ever had. Go to bike for when I don't feel like killing myself on pathetically bad roads.
The more I ride Ti, the more I like Ti. I did a one week fully loaded 600 mile tour of Michigan this summer, about half paved and half off road, the Hab Cross was THE BEST, kept me wanting to ride more every day. The stiff stays kept me from wobbling and the ride is amazing. Have had the Habanero Cross bike for nearly five years now. Lots of snow, rain and nasty roads covered in salt. ZERO problems, nothing but LOVE.
This is a "prospective review" - I'm flying from Canada to Mesa AZ I Thursday to get my new Habby dream bike in person. I'm 6'9 and finally having a custom 66cm road bike built to my specs with fantastic parts is going to be a game changer.
