About this business
Doug and Vickie Hardy have taken over Haar's Auction along with Connie and Al Darbrow and Sandra Haar effective March 1, 2003. Our grandfather Vance Haar started the auction business in the 1940's traveling around picking up and selling merchandise for people. His son George Haar joined him upon return of the military. In 1972 Vance Haar passed away leaving his legacy to his 4 children George, Boyd, Elwood and Claribel. They incorporated in 1974. The drive in was good but they need to do a job of security, people jumped in front of car,and I'm handicapped and regular cars were parking in the handicap spots, I barely had a spot. The lady in the cart rode by numerous times n didn't do anything about it n I don't think that's right. My husband went to the concession stand to report it n again nothing was done. We waited in a long line to get in and when we got up to right around the bin n a car came in and the lady didn't stop them,we had to wait a half hour in line tha... read more
First time here and it will be the last. Got there at 6:45 and parked on the side in the 5th row were I all the other SUV were parked. At 8:00 was told we had to move in the back. At that point there was hardly any parking. We could hear the movie however seeing it was almost impossible. Waste of money.
You have to get there before gates open was amazing sat and chatted with owners for a bit, they put everything they have into keeping it up and running, food was great home made French fries. And movie quality was great. Will be returning again
Went there on Sunday with a friend to see Wonder Woman. Was an awesome experience. Would definitely come back.
I love being able to come back every year, been coming since I was like 5. My family and I are so happy you guys are still open!!
We so enjoy going to Haar's Drive In with the family. We go early to ensure a front row spot and play family board games until the movie starts. We always get soft serve ice cream before the first movie and French fries at intermission. The staff is the friendliest, the new screen is fabulous, and you can't beat watching a movie from your lawn chair in the fresh air!!
First time last night , definitely will return with the family again!!
Haar's is the best summer staple! Great concession food, better prices than regular movie theaters and a double showing. What else could you ask for?
