About this business
Doug and Vickie Hardy have taken over Haar's Auction along with Connie and Al Darbrow and Sandra Haar effective March 1, 2003. Our grandfather Vance Haar started the auction business in the 1940's traveling around picking up and selling merchandise for people. His son George Haar joined him upon return of the military. In 1972 Vance Haar passed away leaving his legacy to his 4 children George, Boyd, Elwood and Claribel. They incorporated in 1974. Popcorn is a hot food item. I stood in a long line(wrong line, no signs) for popcorn. On my turn i asked for popcorn. The woman behind the counter told me it's on the other side(ice cream) i was also told by her that i could not go across to the correct line. She made me go back in line for popcorn. Prices are on the steep side for food.
Many fond memories with our family at Haar's drive in over the years. Love to go back each summer!

This is probably the worst drive in my husband and I have ever been to strictly because of the parking. Only 1 screen and a huge parking lot that is almost on a downgrade away from it, Lots of almost spots. This could be improved by having parking attendants to make sure people park correctly to give others space. It would also help alleviate complaints of being asked to move because of larger vehicles because they would be directed right away to an appropriate spot.
Haven't been here since I was a kid and finally got to take my kids! We loved it and hopefully can make this happen more this summer. So much better than going to the regular theaters!
