Open since 1895, H. Schoenberg is the oldest pawn shop in Jersey City, New Jersey, and we plan on serving customers for another 100 years. Visit us when you need extra cash to pay bills, go on vacation, or make a large purchase. We also sell and repair jewelry. Led by an owner with more than 35 years of experience, our main goals are to form good relationships with every customer and offer great, friendly service.

The stars are really for the presentation of the store. Clean, organized and looks great but certainly not the best prices if you’re selling commodities. I tried to sell some silver today and was offered $11 beneath spot (63%) Went to another place a few minutes away and was offered $3 beneath (90% of spot price). Be weary and make sure you know your numbers.
I've never had a bad experience going there. The people are friendly and polite. Good service 👍
