The fish, shrimp, and zucchini is great with the batter used. The only thing I ordered that was okay, but could have been made better was the catfish. CATFISH IS ALWAYS FRIED WITH CORN MEAL and not with batter used to fry everything else.
Great place ...staff is respectful..this is the onl6 place I eat fish and chips...I brought my daughter and she loves it... we order fish and chips and eat it at Alum Rock Park weekly... it allows us to spend some quality time together #dadslovedaughters
Is this place you would take your special person on a date night, probably not. Is this a place you would go to get yummy comfort food. Absolutely. The service was great. Just a little hole in the wall. Exactly what I was looking for, a taste of the past. It took me back to the days when they would wrap the fish in newspaper. They did not wrap theirs in newspaper of course but it was worth every penny. Generous portions. Lots of malt vinegar and tartar sauce for dipping. Wish I had thought to take pictures.
