Dr. Bertram has been my orthopedic surgeon for 15 years, he is with out a doubt the best. Others make the same claim but none are as caring or as good when it comes to knees and hips. I'm sorry I for one will miss him very much.
Dr Bertram performed hip revision surgery for me which is not a procedure that all orthopedic surgeons will perform. The procedure was extremely successful and exceeded my expectations. I was walking 2 miles within 10 days of surgery. Dr Bertram utilized a holistic approach to surgery addressing my preparation for surgery, the surgical procedure itself, and my physical therapy afterward. Dr Bertram rates all 10s...immediately after surgery for a total hip replacement on my left hip I had very little swelling and bruising , my mobility in three weeks is the same as what I experienced after three months recovery from a THR on my right hip done two years ago with another physician.
