Nov 9th I went in for burning 1qt of oil per 500 miles. Was told my pcv was bad with no evidence when asked. I asked about rings since it's the most common problem for 2.0t if this model. I was told that was not the case from john mindy and from them speaking for the tech that compression was good witch ment rings were good and I was wrong. Nov 21 they get me back in for a oil consumption test they didn't want to even do. In 220 miles I came back losing 1.5 qts of oil. Again telling me it's not rings it has good compression... read more
Auto Accessories I have some unique vehicles that require unusual parts. I can always find them at HM. If they don't have them in stock, they have always been good about finding them for me.
Detailing I have taken my car to HM Motorsports for oil changes and detailing and they have done a good job. They are associated with Herzog Meier Volvo and Volkswagon and I can't say that I have ever seen any other make of car at their place, although they say they do them all. They found me a new donut tire when mine was ruined and it was quite an effort on their part to locate it for me.
We took our new just detailed Volvo into HM for front window tint and a clear bra, I spoke with Mathew who set my appointment over the phone and email and answered my questions. I should have asked what material they where using for the bra as it seems very thin and not as thick as a 3-M product I had installed on my Cadillac. The job was done in time the window film looks good so far but........... The car was returned dirty to me they must have left it out side when it rained the one night this week.
