I had a hip replacement with Dr. Cooper in 2023. The moment I got out of surgery Dr. Cooper asked me to wiggle my toes and I could not, to which he just said “OOPS”. I then went on to develop a massive infection in my hip during recovery. I feel like I'm a lucky guy for getting to know this man. I needed both my hips replaced from side affects of steroids during chemo treatments. So at first I went to see a different doctor in Columbia hospital, younger man (no names) ... he wanted to schedule me to do it one hip at a time, And when I brought up in the conversation if doing both at the same time is even a option, he responded that they do that but very rarely and only when there is a good reason to.
