Dr. Boston was the surgeon at the ER when my foot was completely ripped off my leg in a 3-wheeler wreck in 1990. The ankle bones had been demolished, cartilage lost permanently and the foot was hanging on with only 1 tendon. There was serious doubt as to whether or not I would be able to keep it.
