Dissatisfied with Service I was charged approx $100 for a complete misdiagnosis and was lied to on several occasions. An example of a lie I was told was when they said they had my car on the rack for service and had test driven it. I made note of exactly how my car was positioned prior to this 'service' in their parking lot (it was parked askew and easy to determine if it had been driven). Ave is a crook, Beware! Tried to get me to replace a very expensive fuel ($700) part while the problem was just a $20 relay. This would be something any mechanic would first check, clearly his intention was to rip me off. Check the detailed complaint at BBB as well. I ended up paying for towing charges, (mis)diagnosis charges and auto - rental charges. Ave did not even refund the (mis)diagnosis charge even after I produced a receipt from Meineke who replaced the relay and gave a statement of the real problem. Insolent Ave's ... read more
Satisfied Service I had a good experience with Ave. Had both my vehicles fixed at H&W Auto Repair. One of my vehicles had engine problems. Took to multi repairs shops and was charged to have diagnosed and fixed but still same problem. Was recommend from a friend to take to H&W Auto. Ave was able to diagnose and fix my vehicle and gave me a quote and when I went to pick my vehicle up it was exactly what was on the quote. Give him a chance, unfortunately not everyone will be happy!
