RecommendedI went to Gyu Kaku last Friday in the evening around 5:30 PM. I was greeted by the host and servers immediately. The atmosphere was friendly and lively. We had 5 different cuts of beef, recommended by our server Brandon. He was really helpful and knowledgeable. The experience overall was great, would advocate for anyone looking for quality food and service.

Our first experience with this style. Really enjoyed it! The Garlic Noodle w Shrimp was amazing! The Spicy Tuna Volcano is also a must have. And the service was on point!

Superb establishment food was perfect and tasty and the staff are very helpful and friendly. You get a sense that they are proud of their restaurant and they should be. It’s just a block off Lafayette Square Park.
If you don’t have a reservation it’s worth the wait. Our 3rd visit last night and did not disappoint - consistent in all food service, staff service and cool atmosphere. Anthony Davis was dining next to our table and staff remained very professional and did not bother him for pictures and what not. Looking forward to going back again! Thank you everyone!!
First time and we loved the experience! We walked in 45 minutes before our reservation time and were seated immediately!! The atmosphere was very welcoming and chill. The whole concept is great! We definitely loved our meal and will be back!
I’ve always had a great experience here since my first visit. Everyone works together and even the managers are hands on and helpful. I love seeing that in a restaurant! I generally go on a weekday, but went today on a Sunday and it was quite packed and they were understaffed so it was a bit of a wait.
