Originally built in 1903 as the YMCA by the Phelps Dodge Company to give Bisbee miners a healthy place to recreate, the Gym Club Suites building was renovated into spacious apartments in the 1980's. These apartments with private bathrooms and kitchens are now fully furnished for travelers to Bisbee or Southeast Arizona a place to curl up for the night - a home away from home, instead of just a hotel room. What a wonderful weekend with great friends!! The accommodations, recommendations and views from our patio were awesome!! Our unit was super clean, beds super comfortable and any questions we had were answered right away. Location was perfect for walking to all of the events we had planned. We can’t wait to come back!!!
I had a wonderful experience at The Carrick! From when we were met by James at check in our entire weekend was magical. The Carrick is a beautifully remodeled suites hotel in Bisbee AZ. Everything in Bisbee is pretty centrally located and The Carrick was just a few minutes walk from the Copper Queen Hotel, the Bisbee Mining Museum and the Copper Queen Mine Tour.
