Originally built in 1903 as the YMCA by the Phelps Dodge Company to give Bisbee miners a healthy place to recreate, the Gym Club Suites building was renovated into spacious apartments in the 1980's. These apartments with private bathrooms and kitchens are now fully furnished for travelers to Bisbee or Southeast Arizona a place to curl up for the night - a home away from home, instead of just a hotel room. We were so extremely pleasantly surprised with this gem. The 3 bedroom suite we stayed in was clean, nicely decorated and comfy. The front desk guys was so nice. They provided free sodas and range of snacks for am and pm enjoyment. The Bisbee. table was exceptional and wonderful service. Definitely visit the gin distillery. I would love to go back and spend a weekend. You will not be disappointed in this suite only hotel.

I have to give this place, 10 out of 10, room was super clean and beautiful, service amazing everything we need Brad ( manager ) was so quick to answer the phone, provide with snacks on the house , also emergency personal items that we forgot, Brad was an amazing host , location was very easy to explore Bisbee, we had an amazing time , we can’t wait to be back and for sure we will be staying at The Carrick … thank you for all …
We stayed 3 days at The Carrick. We loved the character of the hotel. We stayed in 104 and enjoyed the deck for morning coffee and evening cocktail. Our suite was large and allowed our teenage boys room to have their space. And the 2 bathrooms were also nice to have. The owner was very kind and helped accommodate a request I had. The location is prefect for walking to restaurants and shopping. We would stay here again if in the area.
