On May 4, I went to Gwinnett Clinic after going to a wellness clinic for strep. I saw Dr. Cristina Dasoveanu. While examining me, she confirmed what the previous clinic had told me, that my thyroid was enlarged. During the exam, she also discovered that my heartbeat was very erratic, and made the decision to send me to the hospital to have it checked. I was referred to this office by a very dear friend of mine. She referred me to see Dr. Shah, who is no longer there. He was a very compassionate and caring doctor but clearly did not fit in there because the office staff and nurses are beyond RUDE. I've worked in healthcare for over 10 years and our offices pride ourselves in patient care. This office staff and nurses, if they are truly qualified to be called nurses, are horrible. My husband and I were insulted by the "doctor". He made me feel like a drug abuser because I asked for a refill on my antidepressants. I would highly recommend anyone to find a REAL group of doctors-who went to medical school in the United States.

Don't go. If I could, I would give zero stars. The location on Nelson Brogdon billed my insurance for two visits even though I was only there for one. They used two different doctors names on two different bills. I tried to address the "mistake" with them but never received a response. I also was not contacted with my results by the staff-had to follow up.
I had done my physical every year since 2010 @ this clinic, but this time they didn't send my report (4 weeks and waiting), usually the nurse would call me to give the heads up abt the result that didn't happen. The Dr referred me for Ultrasound @ Lawrenceville location, waiting for that result too and called several times, they put me on hold every single time. They need a better management.
Don't expect to be treated with compassion or respect by any of the staff. Expect the doctors to answer personal calls while talking to you about why you're there. Know you will have to wait or be sent away because the nurse is done for the day even though it's only 11:00. I was sent away because there was no doctor and the nurse was getting ready to leave. Urgent Care told me I had pneumonia.
Since moving to Atlanta, I have encountered mediocre health care. The doctors seem like they did not care about my concerns. I was having severe back pain and wanted to get to the bottom of it. My previous doctor only did an x-ray which revealed nothing and they assumed that I was lying about the pain and just wanted pain medication. I went to The Gwinnett Clinic and they ordered an MRI and found that my vertebrea had a tear in it. Thank you so much for putting care back into health care.
