Had our bedroom ac quit. Called Guys and they sent out tech, he said compressor locked up and we should put complete new system in since it was an R22 system. Was quick to give us a bid of over $11,000 and said they could start in 2 days. Got another bid from Woodlands area AC company and bid was $6400 for same system, had bids as low as $4800 but this cheap one not licensed or insured. We had returned from a shot getaway and our home a/c had stopped working. We called an A/C company that had done work for us before and their answer to the problem was a new unit. Call Guy's A/C to get a second opinion, they were able to offer a more affordable option to the issue.
