My husband & I have been patients of Dr. MIntz for about 10 years. 6 weeks ago I felt chest pains and went to the hospital . I was told I needed a stent...tried reaching Dr. Mintz's office--did not get a call back until 2 days after the stent was in. Today I felt dizzy, took my blood pressure and it was very high Again tried calling Dr. Mintz's office. Left 3 messages--no callback. My husband drove me to his office (it was during office hours). Dr. Mintz is personable, considerate and kind. He goes beyond just caring for your heart, he cares about your total well being. He's brilliant, up to date in preventative cardiology and lipidology.
Great doctor... however poor staff. For a week I have been calling back and forth between the dr's office and my insurance in regards to a required pre-authorization form for my rx. The insurance said they faxed it.. the dr's office claimed they never received it. After all of this back and forth.. my insurance stated that they faxed it YESTERDAY at 2:30pm.
