Honest and caring staff. They listened to my concerns and gave guidance on what could be done.
Dr Vandenberg is by far one of the best in the business! She truly cares about you and is very knowledgeable. The staff was always friendly and treated me with respect. If I could, I would pay DR V to come to KY (since I moved) to continue my care.
I drove my daughter approximately two hours round trip for the doctor to spend two minutes with us, being very dismissive. The first thing he said to us was, "So, why are you here?" My daughter's primary doctor referred my daughter there because she has a swollen lymph node that is painful and, per the ultrasound report, showed signs of abnormalities and possible malignancy. When I explained that to the doctor at this office, he was very dismissive and said that since the lymph node was only 1.2 cm instead of 1.5 cm, he didn... read more
This was a traumatic visit for me. There has been a lot of movement of doctors & staff over the years. Both good & bad personnel leave. They are clearly unhappy & dissatisfied & take it out on the patients. The Doctor I saw was was arrogant, impatient & completely lacked compassion & concern - the human coefficient. I will have my needs met through UPMC in future & not Guthrie. I feel sorry for those that remain who do care & try to do a good job in difficult circumstances in a negative environment!
I am very disappointed with this office. What ever happened to good customer service or a Dr that listens to their patient! They need to do something in regard's to this office and the Dr's that work in it. They act like they really dislike the job they are doing and the patients that walk in the doors.
