When I went to the Guthrie Lourdes ER last week, I was satisfied with my experience. The wait to be seen was not long, and the triage team was thorough. The staff were all polite and efficient. Tests were done, and I was treated and able to go home in a reasonable amount of time.
My nurse was wonderful, gentle and caring. She made everything much easier. I tried to joke with my doctor about googling my symptoms, but I think he didn't realize I was kidding. I felt a little like he didn't take me as seriously after. He wasn't unkind or rude. All of the people who helped with Xrays and CT scan were very efficient and soothing. I did not leave with any answer to what happened. I did get a reference to a gastroenterologist, but I did not call, because my insurance recently changed and I am worried about c... read more
