This is one of the best eye care offices I have ever been in. Every one of the staff was wonderful. It's a shame Guthrie is closing this office.

My grandmother was taken to this clinic for a regular eye exam and the so called patient care by Marilyn Foran was so below standards. The OD administered drops without letting my grandmother know she was going to touch her and what they were for. When talking about her cataracts my grandmother was visibly upset and instead of keeping her professionalism Foran responded with a disgustingly rude comment. I went to Guthrie Endicott Specialty Eye Care for a simple routine eye exam and contact lens fitting. When scheduling, I confirmed my insurance with the receptionist. She made a timestamped note in their system that my vision plan was out-of-network, yet she never disclosed this and proceeded anyway. At check-in, I provided my insurance card, and again, no one said a word about network status. They billed my medical insurance over $500 (which is more than Guthrie charges for an urgent care visit) for this basic routine visit... read more
